Registration Agreement & Rules
« Reply #1 on: March 20, 2005, 10:09:56 AM »
Some people seem to be clicking the box to accept the registration agreement without reading it.

Please take the minute or so you will need to read the agreement when you register. The agreement contains the rules for registration as well as the guidelines you agree to abide by when you participate.
They are not unusual or uncommon for any public forum (forums which may be viewed by anyone "surfing" the Internet)
They insure your privacy settings are up to you, that material will not be posted that could be offensive to a person under legal age who might find these forums, and that posts will remain within general legal boundaries.
That is why all of today's reputable forums have similar rules and by registering you agree to abide by those rules.
For all of the PLP "regulars" there is nothing there that will change the nature of the way these forums have always operated.
Perhaps the most unnoticed or ignored is the requirement of non-"free-mail" e-mail addresses for your registration link to be emailed to. Please save yourself some time re-registering by adhering to that requirement.

Thanks
